Member Completes Rain Water Study

Longtime Women's Creative Leadership Network member Banti recently conducted a study entitled Rain Water: A Method of Harnessing Water Resources for Better Future in collaboration with faculty at Cinnamora College as part of her master's degree in social work. Her study focused on six villages in the Gaurisagar area of Assam in India.

The purpose of her study was to raise awareness about the germs that can be found in the local water supply. All of the households using local tap water reported that they have experienced illnesses. The study promotes the collection and use of rain water as a healthier and readily available alternative.
